Open air kitchens in Rio Durce (tonight's stop) which is at the head of a river on the border of Belize and Guatemala.

Leaving first thing tomorrow morning to travel to the Honduran border. No problems expected here, as Matthias is a Honduras resident and will make the paperwork very easy for us. We expect to be in Honduras by the middle of the day, all things going well.

Hopefully tomorrow will offer roads much the same as today. I lost count, but at one stage there were at least 50 consecutive sweeping bends, each perfectly cambered, and winding up and down through mountains and green jungle valleys. It was incredibly exciting and picturesque riding. Not the heart thumping downhill shale descents of a day or so ago;, but a chance to set the bike up really well for each corner, get technique just right, and come thundering out the other end at top speed just in time to get down a few gears all over again for the next corner. Over and over again. This is the stuff that motorcyclists dream about.
